Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance do we need to book?

It’s a good idea to book at least 18 months ahead. Having said that, things change so there might even be a last minute date available next week. I suggest getting in contact with me, your photographer and venue as soon as you know your preferred date, particularly if you are looking at a Saturday.

Can we meet before we book?

Absolutely, in fact I insist on it! It’s an important decision choosing your celebrant and meeting is a good opportunity to see if I am the right fit for you. Use the contact form on this website to book in a chat in person, of if you are further afield I can set up a wee Zoom call.

I’m located in Leigh-On-Sea, near Southend-On-Sea. I provide bespoke celebrant services in Essex, London and South-East. I’m happy to travel further afield (including the Caribbean darlings) for your perfect day.

What do you wear on the day?

Ooh I love dressing up for the occasion! I have a large wardrobe darlings! You want formal I have it, you want boho - I have the rhinestone cowboy boots, or perhaps a 70’s vibe…. I guarantee you I have something that will work. I usually wait until you know your colour scheme and then we can coordinate my outfit to align to your vision.

Will you help us write our personal vows?

Of course! In the Love Locker, which you will gain access to once you are booked in, I have some handy guides for writing your vows. I will support you through the process in good time before your big day. If you prefer not to share personal vows in front of your guests there are other options to incorporate your love into your ceremony.

Do you support Marriage Equality?

I am a proud champion for marriage equality and celebrating diverse relationships in an inclusive, authentic and memorable way.

Its a shame there still is a the need to include this question in 2023 but excited that I get to positively influence changing attitudes in our society.

What is your top tip for our ceremony?

Just do you. Let me take your ideas, stories and dreams and turn them into something unforgettable. It doesn’t have to be a perfect production, that is only in the movies. Breath, feel the love, listen to the music, laugh your socks off and just do you.
